Exact Editions is delighted to announce that new digital resource, The British Museum Magazine, will now be available to institutions. Subscribers will have access to the museum’s membership magazine which currently stretches back to the Autumn/Winter 2006 issue, and includes over 50 back issues to explore, with the full archive due to be added at a later date.

Founded in 1753, the British Museum is the oldest and greatest publicly funded museum in the world, exhibiting two million years of human history and culture. The Museum is driven by an insatiable curiosity for the world, a deep belief in objects as reliable witnesses and documents of human history, sound research, as well as the desire to expand and share knowledge.
The British Museum Magazine explores the Museum’s collection of 8 million objects through the eyes of its curators and experts. Published three times a year, the magazine showcases the latest exhibitions, acquisitions and research from across the Museum and around the world, alongside striking visuals.

Institutional digital subscriptions include fully-searchable, IP-authenticated access to an expansive archive of back issues stretching back to 2006, with the full archive due to be completed over the coming months. Museum students and professionals alike will be able to easily access a treasure trove of in-depth and fully-searchable editorial content at the touch of a button across web, iOS and Android devices.
“The collection of archived issues have really been brought to life in this new digital format; the comprehensive search tool in particular will prove incredibly useful for those with a passion for or profession in the museum industry.”
membership manager, Claire Byfield
