Exact Editions is pleased to announce that the first issue of new archaeology title, Past Worlds is available now to individual and institutional subscribers. The new digital archaeology magazine will publish six issues a year, suitable for anyone interested in the dynamic discipline of world archaeology and students studying the subject alike.

Available across web, iOS and Android devices

Past Worlds is the creation of trained archaeologists Nadia Durrani, Neil Faulkner, and Gary Rossin, who realised that the time was right to create a new, exclusively online, archaeology magazine. Nadia and Neil, previously long-standing editors of Current Archaeology and Current World Archaeology, have between them and Gary, written over 20 books, including Bigger Than HistoryLawrence of Arabia’s War and Sedgeford Aerodrome, and worked on numerous archaeology programmes on Channel 4, the BBC, and more.

Past Worlds digs deep into all aspects of human history, over all time periods, in all areas of the world. Written and edited by leading experts, each issue of Past Worlds will contain features on the latest discoveries and biggest debates as well as features on the latest finds, excavations, research, and thinking.

Can read online or on the go

Exclusively digital, Past Worlds makes for optimal online reading: fully illustrated like a print magazine, but with the depth of an ebook. The Exact Editions digital platform offers cross-platform availability across web, iOS, and Android devices, allowing subscribers to access issues at home or on the go, as well as fully searchable issues that ensure readers can search for any subject at the click of a button.
