2022 marks the 25th anniversary of a much-loved worldwide celebration: World Book Day 📖

The day’s mission is to promote reading for pleasure, offering every child and young person the opportunity to have a book of their own. Did you know that reading for pleasure is the single biggest indicator of a child’s future success  – more than their family circumstances, their parents’ educational background or their income?

To celebrate, Exact Editions is highlighting 3 books from the digital What on Earth Books Collection, which includes 11 non-fiction titles that engage children’s natural curiosity and passion for learning.

Prehistoric  – Kathleen Weidner Zoehfeld 🦕

“Travel back in time hundreds of millions of years, stopping in frozen ice ages, lush prehistoric rainforests and ancient oceans along the way.”

Prehistoric includes bold illustrations by Julius Csotonyi that allow children to discover fascinating creatures, including hungry dinosaurs and enormous mammoths. Infographics reveal the secrets of Earth′s geology and environments, linking ancient creatures and places to our own time and current societal issues.
