Siegfried Magazine is now available on the Exact Editions digital platform

Exact Editions is pleased to announce that a new literature publication Siegfried Magazine has launched a digital edition of its very first issue on its digital platform, and is now available for individual and institutional subscriptions. 

Siegfried Magazine is a quarterly Canadian publication of literature and art. The publication’s motto is “Curiosity and Courage” and offers readers a middle ground between the old and new, a place where art and writing are challenging and comforting.

Archive Perspectives: Thanksgiving

This year marks the 400th anniversary of the first Thanksgiving, held annually to commemorate the Plymouth colonists and Wampanoag sharing an autumn harvest feast in 1621.

In July 2019, Carola Rackete, former ship captain of Sea-Watch 3, was temporarily arrested on the Italian island of Lampedusa when she took the decision to sail 40 migrants into a port without authorisation. Every year thousands of people drown trying to reach safe harbour in the EU. German non-governmental organisation, Sea-Watch, commissions ships to rescue refugees in the Mediterranean sea. Sea-Watch has so far been involved in the rescue of well over 35,000 people.
